What is recorded here

In pasture on N-facing slope. Enclosure survives in field fence system NNW-ESE (C 29m). Interior defined by heavily overgrown, earthen bank (H 1.6m). Cultivation ridges cross site on N-S axis. Locally known as "the Lios". The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
