This poorly preserved, oval-shaped enclosure is located in rough pasture on a steep SE facing slope which overlooks Lough Currane to S. Marked as a circular enclosure on the first edition of the OS map, it measures 40m NE-SW x 29.5m NW-SE in overall diameter. The inner flank of the enclosing element is faced with large boulders and some small stone; its core and outer face are obscured beneath the sod-cover. The bank has an internal height of .75m at NW. The interior of the site, though densely overgrown in places, appears to be featureless. The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J.
