Mid/late 19th-century lime kiln, built against natural slope, on N side of road. Quarry indicated here on 1842 OS 6-inch map. Random-rubble walls retain earthen core. Front elevation (H c. 4m; Wth 6m) faces S; arched recess (H 1.5m; Wth 1.8m), sloping slabs at rear. Ledge over recess c. 2m off ground, second ledge c. 3m off ground. Funnel infilled.
