In rough grazing atop low rise, 40m N of barrow (MA121-188----). Circular mound (diam. 7.8m E-W), enclosed by fosse (D 0.5m), with external earthen bank (H 0.9m). Overlain by two stone fences and heavily overgrown on NE. The above description has been derived from D. Neolithic passage tomb, c. 3500–2500 BCE. Its construction with a fosse and external bank reflects early communal burial practices and earthwork engineering in the Irish Neolithic.
