What is recorded here

Indicated is a broken stone ring atop a low rise in County Limerick, its wall chopped open where human fields cut through the old circle. The gap faces south-east, as if the fort surrendered part of itself to the land rather than resisting it. Maybe people stopped building there because the shape became clearer without the wall.

Atop low rise, in undulating pasture. Circular area (41.9m N-S; 40.8m E-W) enclosed by dry-stone wall (int. H 1.2m; ext. H 1.7m; Wth top 0.6m), except ESE->S (Wth c. 8m) where it has been removed, and at NE where a short section (Wth 3.4m) has been truncated by field boundary travelling on NW-SE axis.
