What is recorded here

In undulating pastureland. A steeply sloping three-tiered oval mound (c. 70m E-W; c. 42m N-S; H c. 10m). Traces of a square enclosure (L/Wth c. 40m) defined by a drystone wall foundation abut the monument at N. Of the ‘Turret’ (GA106-125003-) marked on the summit on the OS maps no visible surface trace survives. Compiled by: Galway Archaeological Survey, UCG Date of upload: 30 July 2019
