Indicated

Crannog

What is recorded here

Indicated is a crannog in Lough Nablahy, County Roscommon, Ireland. It appears as a small ten-metre feature in a shallow bay at the loughs northeast end. Water has likely covered the site because the ground no longer shows it.
Marked as a small feature (diam. c. 10m) in a bay (dims. c. 300m NW-SE; c. 200m NE-SW) at the NE end of Lough Nablahy (dims. c.1.5 km NE-SW; c. 400m NW-SE). It is not visible at ground level and is probably now incorporated in the shore at N. The possible crannog (RO017-141002-) is c. 60m to the SSW.
