What is recorded here

Indicated is a crannog in County Mayo, Ireland, an artificial island built from stone, soil and deliberate courage. It may have hosted a family, a herder or a hidden priest, and the water may have carried their voices to shores now forgotten. The lake keeps what people forgot, pressing its shape into every stone and shadow it touches.
