What is recorded here
Situated on relatively low ground on grass-covered limestone pavement. Listed as ‘Enclosure’ in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996). Visible on a high altitude aerial photograph (HSL 9218/9). On inspection in 1997 this was found to be a circular enclosure (diam. c. 20m) defined by a drystone wall (H c. 1.2m). There was no evidence of stone facing or spread from an older wall. The gable of a 19th-century house is just to the NW and the enclosure is probably of similar date.
