What is recorded here
Built into the NW corner of a moderately well-preserved square cashel (CL005-063----). A rectangular stone building (8m E-W; 5.2m N-S) defined by a double-faced wall (Wth 0.9m; H 1.2m) at E and S, and elsewhere by collapsed stone spread. It projects N (c. 1.8m) from the E-W line of the N wall of the cashel. Another rectangular building (CL005-063003-) and a medieval architectural fragment (CL005-063004-) are located c. 7m to the N. Westropp (1915, 251) appears to have believed this to be a relatively modern house, but it may be of late medieval date.
