What is recorded here

Indicated is a vanished burial ground in County Offaly, drawn as a circular enclosure on the first Ordnance Survey map but absent from modern ground. The line exists only in ink and memory, marking a place where people may have laid others to rest before the land forgot the shape. It is a ghost recorded twice, once by survey and once by silence.

Depicted as a circular enclosure (OF023-004002-) on the first edition of the OS 6-inch map but not depicted as a graveyard. Not visible at ground level.
