What is recorded here
Indicated is a fairy fort in County Mayo, an earthen ring where human history has thinned into myth. The soil may have held a village, a boundary or a forgotten home before the tales took it over. That is not a loss of truth but a change of shape. The facts stopped naming the people, yet the land kept the form of their life.
