What is recorded here

Indicated is a stone ringfort in County Cork, Ireland. It holds a circular space thirty-two metres wide inside a bank two and a half metres high. The stones still show their inner and outer faces on three sides, while a gap at the southeast edge admits cattle and people alike. The fort sits on a south-facing spur above pasture, exposed to weather and witness. It is not hidden, nor complete. It is exactly large enough to be seen, entered and remembered.

In pasture broken by rock outcrop, atop spur, on S-facing slope. Circular area (diam. 32m) enclosed by stone bank (H 2.4m; Wth 1.5m); original walling (inner and outer facing with rubble filled core) visible to E, SSE and SW. Cattle gap to SE.
