What is recorded here

On a low-lying, level landscape. D-shaped grass-covered area (dims 31m E-W; 27m N-S) defined by a grass-covered stone spread (Wth 6.2-7.5m; int. H 0.2-0.5m; ext. H 0.8m) SW-N-SE, and by a scarp (H 0.2m) at S where the perimeter is truncated by an E-W field wall. There is no visible entrance, nor any evidence of burial, although it is described as an old graveyard on the 1837 and 1914 eds of the OS 6-inch map. The fulachta fia (RO017-203001-; RO017-203002-) are c. 30m-60m to the NE. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
