A local church or high cross; wider significance not recorded.

What is recorded here

Situated on a low rise, in pasture. A rectangular-shaped building orientated NE-SW is depicted on the 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map. Not depicted on the revised 1910 ed. OS 25-inch map, although a small rectilinear-shaped enclosure is shown and is open to SE. According to local information, this site yielded large quantities of bones when tilled during the last war. Monument described in 1980 as no surface remains visible. Architectural fragments (WM031-102001-) which may have come from the building are built into a window of a barn in the yard of Creeve Cottage, which lies c. 88m to SE. Compiled by Alison McQueen, Vera Rahilly and Caimin O’Brien. Date of upload: 22 November 2019
