What is recorded here
Indicated is a fairy fort in County Mayo, Ireland. Its earthworks still stand where human hands shaped them, though the names of those hands have faded. The fort may have housed families, herds or fears, but no clear record survives to confirm which. What remains is a ring of soil that refuses to be forgotten, waiting for someone to walk its edge and imagine the life it held.
