What is recorded here

Indicated is a twenty-three-metre stone enclosure on a west-facing shelf at the extreme north end of the valley between Slievecarran and Turloughmore Mountain. A holy well sits sixty metres southeast on a higher shelf, suggesting the site may have marked a boundary between domestic life and sacred water. The wall still holds its shape on the slope, waiting for someone to walk the narrow path between the two places and remember what they were keeping apart.

An enclosure (diam. c. 23m) defined by a stone wall visible on Digital Globe (2011-2013) and noted by Ros Ó Maoldúin. A holy well (CL006-030----) lies c. 60m to the SE on a higher shelf.
