Listed as an 'earthwork' in the SMR (1986) based on cartographic and aerial photographic evidence (GSI N 354/355/356 1973)). On a marked S-facing slope in Hollywood Demesne. A complex of four designed landscape features which are clearly marked on the OS 6-inch second edition series (1885). The area had been heavily planted by the time of the first edition (1838) and the enclosure boundaries are not shown but may already have been constructed at that stage.
