Fairy fort / earthen ringfort

What is recorded here

On a rise in undulating pasture overlooking a valley to the E through which a small stream flows N to join the Ashbrook River. A large densely overgrown, roughly circular area (int. diams. 50m E-W; 48m N–S, 50m E–W) is defined by an inner scarp (H 3m), a fosse (Wth 2-3m) and an outer earthen bank (int. H over base of fosse 0.5m; av. Wth 4m; ext. H 0.8-1.5m) which is overlain by a later field wall in the NE sector. The interior slopes slightly down towards the E and is briar and nettle covered.
