What is recorded here
In pasture, encompassing the top of a prominent rise, with a stream at the base of the slope to NE. This rath is shown as a circular embanked enclosure (diam. 20-25m) on the 1838 OS 6-inch map; it is not shown on later map editions. The barely discernible outline of an oval enclosure (c. 20m E–W; c. 25m N–S) is defined by traces of a scarp at NE−S, merging with the natural slope. A field boundary on an E−W axis crosses the N end.
