What is recorded here

In pasture, on S-facing slope. Circular area (29m E-W; 27m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.7m) S->ESE; scarp (H 2m) elsewhere. Bank topped by stone field boundary SSW->NNW; gap (Wth 1m) to NNW. Interior raised on S side to compensate for hillslope; used for grazing. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
