Indicated

Located c. 40m from the E shore of the subrectangular Drumreaske Lough (dims c. 200-230m N-S; c. 100m E-W at N to c. 220m E-W at S). It is depicted a rectangular island (dims c. 15m x c. 15m) only on the 1908 edition of the OS 6-inch map. This is an oval overgrown cairn (dims c. 20m E-W; c. 15m; H 1m) in flooded woodland but there is a zig-zag causeway (Wth 1.2m) to it from the shore at NE, which may be modern. The crannog itself has traces of kerbing on the edge at N, but there is no piling or other evidence of artificial construction visible.
