Indicated is a circular fairy fort in County Mayo, Ireland, holding a hidden underground passage beside its eastern entrance. The two earthen banks and narrow ditch still trace a closed circle across the pasture, while grass and forgotten footsteps soften the place. It is the kind of location where human life may have moved between worlds, marked by a cut passage rather than an open door.

In pasture, on E-facing slope of low hill. Circular raised area (34m N-S; 34m E-W), enclosed by two earthen banks, with intervening fosse (D 1.6m). Inner bank (H 0.8m) and fosse heavily overgrown. Outer bank (H 0.4m) levelled; W to E. Entrance (Wth 3.2m) with causeway, on E. Man-made underground passage (MA100-033001-) in SW of interior. The above description has been derived from D.
