What is recorded here

Cregmore (browne) is a bawn in County Mayo, Ireland. Whether it guarded a household, marked a boundary or simply enclosed a field, that purpose has faded from memory. The name still belongs to the land, waiting for someone to walk its edge and remember what it held.
