What is recorded here

Indicated is a drowned crannog in County Galway, Ireland. A 1934 survey marked a small circular island about twenty-five metres across, yet rising water has since erased every trace. The lake keeps the wooden stairs, hearth and rooms hidden beneath its surface, waiting for a dry season to reveal what human hands built there.

Circa 100m SW of another possible lake dwelling (GA069-014----). Marked on 3rd ed. of OS 6-inch map (1934) as a small circular island (D c. 25m).
