Indicated as a kiln on the 1835 ed. of the OS 6-inch map and a small hachured feature on the 1909 ed. of the map. It is situated on a prominent knoll on a steep NE-facing mountain slope overlooking Glenade valley. This is a conical mound (diam. of base 16m; H 2.4m) with central funnel-shaped hollow (diam. 4m, D1.4m) faced with drystone walling a the centre and with an opening (Wth 1m) to the NE. This is a lime-kiln.
