What is recorded here

In low-lying, reclaimed and gently undulating pastureland. No visible surface trace survives of a hachured feature marked on the 1932 edition of the OS 6-inch map. According to the landowner, it was a small quarry that was filled in during reclamation works. As it was of post-AD 1700 date it does not come within the remit of the Archaeological Survey of Ireland. Compiled by: Olive Alcock Date of upload: 9 July 2014
