What is recorded here
Depicted as circular enclosure (diam. c. 35m) on 1842 and 1903 OS 6-inch maps; partially levelled on 1939 OS 6-inch map (revised 1934-35). Hartnett (1939, 278) recorded site levelled with corn growing on it (1937); according to him 'it apparently had a double rampart and an overall diameter of about 120 feet'. Field now under pasture.
