What is recorded here
Situated in undulating pasture, on a gentle NW-SE ridge. Indicated on the 1840 OS 6-inch map as an oval feature named 'Claghduff'. According to the Ordnance Survey Name Book it was 'said that children were buried there'. No trace of the feature was evident when the site was inspected.
The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
