In pasture, on SSW-facing slope. Circular area (34m N-S; 32.4m E-W) defined by earthen bank (H 1.1m) W->N, with shallow external fosse; incorporated into field fence system N->SE; low rise elsewhere. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 2: East and South Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1994).
