Indicated is a fairy fort in County Mayo, an earthen ring where human history has thinned to legend. The soil may have held a household, a boundary or a forgotten ritual before becoming a place people point at instead of entering. That sudden shift from fact to fantasy is not loss. It is transformation, the kind that turns ordinary land into a living marker of imagination.
