What is recorded here
In rough, stony pasture, located at the E end of a low rise.
This enclosure is shown on the 1837-8 OS 6-inch map as a circular area (diam. c. 15m) incorporated into a roughly N−S field wall; it is not shown on the 1922 edition. The W half of the enclosure survives as a D-shaped area (11.6m N-S; 7.8m E-W to wall) defined on the curving side S−N by a low, sod-covered stone bank (Wth 2.4m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 0.55m). The straight side at E is bordered by a NNE−SSW field wall. There is no trace of the E half of the enclosure.
