What is recorded here

Indicated is a fairy fort in County Mayo, an earthen ring where human history has thinned to rumor. The grass may hide a doorway, a buried hearth, or a room the witches still use when rain stops. People who lived nearby probably avoided it at night, not from certainty but from the feeling that the ground was listening.
