Indicated is a broken fairy fort in County Mayo, its stony bank cut by a field wall and softened into a sloping scarp. It sits on a rise above Lough Brohly, facing the OX Mountains, large enough for a household but worn into the land until only a circular memory remains. The name itself points at what the shape has become: a place shown rather than explained.

In pasture, located on a rise in an area of undulating terrain, with Lough Brohly located 300m to SE. Views good but not extensive; best to E where the rising slopes of the OX Mountains define the horizon. Slightly raised circular area (c. 20m NE−SW; 23m NW−SE) defined by a stony bank, partly levelled to a scarp. The rath is bisected to NW of centre by a field wall/property boundary on a NE−SW axis. The third of the rath to NW of the field fence is defined at SW−N by a low, stony bank (Wth c. 3m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.6-1m); there are sycamore and pine trees growing on the bank and in the interior. The two thirds of the rath to SE of the field fence is grass-covered, and is defined by a bank which has been levelled to a broadly sloping stony scarp (ext. H 1m, 1.4m at S); it is lowest at NE, but has a broader, steeper slump at SE where it merges with a natural fall of ground. Heaps of field clearance stones lie adjacent to the rath at W.
