What is recorded here

Built into ESE bank of ringfort (12251). Overgrown remains of random-rubble walls encase earthen core. Front elevation (L 7.1m; H 5m) faces SE; buttresses on either side of pointed corbelled recess (H 1.9m; Wth 2.2m; D 2m), rear collapsed. Stone-lined funnel (diam. 1.9m), with earthen ramp (L 12m) to N atop scarp on E side of fort. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
