What is recorded here
Listed as ‘Field system’ in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996). A system of rectangular and rectilinear fields is shown on the 1916 OS 6-inch map. The walls are drystone built and appear to be 18th-20th century in date. They are largely intact although those at the centre of the area, close to the derelict farm buildings are tumbled and disused.
