Indicated was a circular enclosure in County Mayo, marked on the 1838 Ordnance Survey map before ploughs and time erased its shape. It may have been a ringfort, a place where people lived, argued, loved and disappeared into the ordinary world. The land keeps no stone or bank for you to touch, but it still holds the shape of what stood there.
