What is recorded here

Indicated is a stone ringfort in County Mayo, Ireland, built from local rock and shaped by human hands. It stands as a cashel, a place where people lived, defended themselves, or marked territory before written records reached it. The stones may have surrounded a home, a workshop, or a small community that faced storm, hunger, and change. What is missing is not emptiness; it is an invitation to imagine the days when the fort was busy and ordinary.
