What is recorded here

Indicated is a ruined circular cashel in County Galway, its collapsed wall buried beneath modern field stones. A rectangular ruin sits at the north-west edge, perhaps a later addition or a forgotten room. The fairies may have built it, or humans may have forgotten it. Either way, the slope still holds the shape of what was lost.

On a gentle S-facing slope in pastureland. A poorly preserved circular cashel (diam. 23m) defined by a collapsed drystone wall surmounted by a modern field wall and obscured by field-clearance rubble.
