Indicated is a fairy fort in County Mayo, an earthen ring where human history has thinned to legend. The soil may still hold the shape of hands that built it, though no name remains to credit them. Locals treat the site as a threshold rather than a ruin, suggesting the boundary between the seen and unseen world grows thin at that exact spot.
