What is recorded here

Indicated is a fairy fort in County Cork, Ireland, holding a circular pasture space twenty-seven and a half metres wide behind a two-metre earthen bank. Its broken northern and south-eastern edges invite entry rather than warn against it, while the silted ditches fade into grass. People may have lived there before becoming legend, shaping soil into a temporary home that later became a place for fairy tales.

In pasture, on SSW-facing slope. Circular area (diam. 27.5m) enclosed by earthen bank (H 2m), stone-faced in parts; silted-up external fosse to NW and SW.
