What is recorded here
Indicated is a fairy fort in County Mayo, an earthen ring where human history has thinned to rumor. It may have held a family, a herdsman or a forgotten child before becoming a place people avoid at dusk. The dirt still marks a boundary, but the life inside has vanished, leaving a hole shaped like a house.
