Indicated is a low oval rath in Mayo pasture, its earth and stone bank barely rising halfway to a standing person while a nearby stream cuts across the damp ground. The site sits small beneath a northern ridge, exposed rather than hidden, inviting people to wonder whether it marked boundary, shelter or story before the fence and grazing changed its edge.

In pasture, located in lowlying ground, overlooked to N by a ridge. There is a W-flowing stream/drain c. 15m to N of the rath, and an expanse of damp ground to W is marked liable to flood on the 1838 and 1929 OS 6-inch maps. Slightly raised oval area (c. 30m E−W; 26m N−S) defined at SW−WSW by bank (Wth c. 2m; max. ext. H 0.75m) of earth and stone, reduced elsewhere to a low scarp. The interior slopes down slightly from N to S. A post and wire fence extends N−S through the interior just E of centre. There is another rath (MA090-089----) 140m to SE.
