What is recorded here

Indicated is a fairy fort on a south-facing slope in County Mayo, Ireland. Its earthen bank encloses a broad circular space where grass-covered stone mounds still rise beside the southeast gap. The fort commands distant views across the land, inviting people to imagine how many generations watched weather, travel and fate from that hidden height.

On high ground, on S-facing slope; commanding view SE and SW. Raised roughly circular area (57m N-S; 62m E-W), enclosed by substantial earthen bank (H 0.8m). Gap (Wth 3.1m) in SE; possible entrance. Grass covered mounds of stone in the interior. The above description has been derived from D.
