What is recorded here
Indicated is a fairy fort in County Mayo, an earthen ring where human history has thinned to legend. The soil may have held a family, a herdsman or a forgotten child before the forts became fairy country. That shift is not loss but transformation: the place stopped belonging to one life and began belonging to imagination.
