What is recorded here

Indicated is a fairy fort in County Mayo, an earthen ring where human history has thinned to myth. Whether the mound marked a home, a boundary or a warning, it still stands as a visible claim on the landscape. The name suggests the place still points, perhaps toward memory, danger or the edge of the known world.
