Inchcolm Holy Well is associated with Saint Columba, a 6th-century Irish monk and missionary linked to the spread of Christianity in Scotland. Traditionally, the well was visited for healing and as a site of pilgrimage, with water believed to have curative properties, particularly for eye ailments.
