Near stream, 4km E of Reanascreena. Remains of rectangular (L 5.3m; Wth 4.6m) corn mill; wheel pit (Wth 0.9m) along NW elevation. High stone platform carried head race. Pair of conglomerate millstones in interior. Remains of rectangular tuck mill (L 4m; Wth 3.3m) to N. Wheel pit (Wth 1.15m) along W elevation; platform similar to above abuts wheel-pit to S; carried head race from corn mill. Both mills share the same mill race. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
