What is recorded here
This record refers to unlocated hut sites in the area around Tralee Bay. The source of the information is from Brunicardi's (1914) 'The Shore-dwellers of Ancient Ireland' in which reference is made to 'a considerable number of hut sites' which were found in a long valley extending from Tralee and Brandon Bays. The exact location of these huts is unknown. (SMR file)
The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
