What is recorded here

On a level terrace midway between loughs Caragh and Cappanalea, which it overlooks. The foundations of a subcircular (KE064-019----) and a rectangular (KE064-019001-) hut, both of which may be relatively recent in date. Incorporated in the structures are some very large facing stones. Hut KE064-019001-measures 3.7m x 2.4m. Remnants of what may be an enclosing wall can be identified NW of the huts. This may be the site referred to as 'Liosachán' by Ó Cíobháin (1978, 33). The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J.
